Ryan Edward Rabago
Ryan Edward "Rye" T. Rabago, MD, DSBPP is a psychiatrist and physician at the Makati Medical Center, as well as faculty member of the Department of Psychiatry - San Beda College of Medicine. Aside from hospital work, he holds clinic hours at Medical Direct, Inc. in Makati and HealthDev Integrative Clinics inside the Ateneo de Manila campus in Quezon City. He is currently a psychiatrist for ChildFam Philippines.
Aside from psychiatric interventions, Dr. Rye conducts counseling and psychotherapy. He completed training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research in Pennsylvania; Behavioral Sleep at the Stanford School of Medicine, Family Dynamics and Counseling at the Center for Family Ministry in Ateneo de Manila; Intensive Integrative Family Therapy at the University of the Philippines, and several Jungian programs at the Carl Jung Center in the Ateneo Graduate School.
Dr. Rye graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Santo Tomas. He is a member of the Philippine Medical Association, Philippine Psychiatry Association, and Makati Medical Society.
Maria Elena Santos, RPsy & RPm
Ms. Maria Elena "Elline" Cruz-Santos is a licensed Psychologist and a licensed Psychometrician. She earned her degree in Master of Science in Psychology Major in Clinical Psychology at the De La Salle University - Manila and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in Adamson University through Academic Scholars Alliance and PVAO scholarships.
Currently, she is a faculty member of the Department of Psychology in Colegio de San Juan de Latran. Concurrently, she is a Consultant at ChildFam-Possibilities Psychosocial Services. She previously taught at the University of Caloocan City and Far Eastern University and De La Salle Araneta University. She has been in the academe for 3 years and has handled all of the board courses and almost all major courses in Psychology program. Prior entering the world of academe, she was a Marine HR for 5 years and was exposed in the practice of Industrial/Organizational setting for 12 years.
Her research interests are in the areas of positive psychology, well-being, self-determination, marriage and family, and cognitive-affective personality systems. She is currently working on the publication of her paper entitled, "The Mediating Effect of Autonomy on the Relationship between Mindfulness and Well-Being: Self-Determination and Cognitive and Affective Perspectives." Her most recent working research is entitled, "Hope and Hedonic Well-Being: The Mediating Effect of Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction and Frustration
Benny Soliman, RGC & RPm
Benny Samson Soliman is the Chief of the Guidance, Counseling and Testing Unit in Tarlac Agricultural University, where he also serves as a full-time Psychology Instructor with an Academic Rank of Assistant Professor IV. He is currently writing his dissertation to complete his Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology at the University of Santo Tomas. Mr. Soliman passed his three (3) professional licensure examinations (guidance counselor, teacher, psychometrician) and he placed 8th during the 2011 Licensure Examination for Guidance Counselors.
He authored a General Psychology book, and co-authored a review book for Psychometrician Board Examination in collaboration with the ChildFam Possibilities Psychosocial Services. In addition to his current professional practice, he also serves as a freelance National Lecturer of topnotch review centers in the country where he handles review lectures for Teachers and Psychometricians Licensure Examinations.
Ann Sunga-Vargas, PhD, RPsy, CSAP, CSLP
Prof. Marie Antonette J. Sunga-Vargas,PhD,RP, RPm, CSAP, CSCLP is a practicing psychologist presently teaching at the Department of Psychology, College of Science and Graduate School of the University of Santo Tomas.
Dr. Vargas is also a pain psychologist at the Wellness and Pain Management Center of the Manila Doctors’ Hospital and a child psychologist at the Child’s Help in Learning and Development (CHILD). Having obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Santo Tomas in 2000, Dr. Vargas is also a registered psychologist, registered psychometrician, certified specialist in assessment psychology and certified specialist in clinical psychology by the Psychological Association of the Philippines and a certified Cognitive Behavior Therapist – level 1 by the National Cognitive Behavior Therapists Association (NCBTA). Her research interests are psychological assessment, psychotherapy, special children and test construction.
Irish Movido, RPsy
A psychologist, lecturer, and resource speaker, Irish earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Miriam College and obtained her Master of Arts degree in Family Psychology and Education from the same institution. She was a guidance counselor of one of the top universities in the Philippines and a career counselor of a corporate company where she provided counselling to employees with various concerns that affect productivity and well-being.
She is currently a faculty member of the St.Scholastica’s College Manila – Graduate School Department. She is also a part of the UP Diliman Taskforce on Psychosocial Services (PsycServ) providing therapy to the members of the UP community in need of mental health services.
Vincent Franklin Velasquez, RPsy
Vincent Franklin D. Velasquez is a registered psychologist and an educator of psychology. He is one of the pioneer associates of the clinic. He obtained both his degrees in B.S. Psychology and Masters in Clinical Psychology in the University of Santo Tomas, and is currently taking his doctorate training in the University of the Philippines Diliman. Vince is a member of the first batch of board takers for psychologist in 2014, and he’s been practicing since 2011 providing counselling, psychotherapy, psychological assessment, psychosocial and group dynamic interventions, trainings, talks, seminars and workshops. Vince had stints in the following organizations either as part of his training or actual practice: National Center for Mental Health, Philippine Mental Health Association, UST Psychotrauma Clinic, and Open Reel Film Gears.
Vince is a co-founder and co-creator of Digipsych, the first comprehensive online review program for the board exam of psychometricians. He’s been a reviewer in Abnormal Psychology and Theories of Personality for Childfam Philippines (the former name of CPPS), Carl Balita Review Center, and Trinity Training Center and Psychological Services. For the past 13 years Vince has taught courses in psychology, sociology and anthropology. He has been a faculty of Trinity University of Asia since 2006 and of the University of Santo Tomas in the year 2018.
Vince is a practitioner and advocate of Integral Life Practice, a way of life that’s informed by science promoting mental clarity, emotional balance, physical and spiritual vitality. He is an impassioned psychotherapist whose personal and professional aspiration is always to assist people in cultivating psychological and holistic well-being.
