OUR STORY

CHANGING THE WORLD ONE RELATIONSHIP AT A TIME

Childfam-Possibilities Psychosocial Services Co. (CPPS) is a well-being center that provides professional biopsychosocial services geared towards improved mental health, maximum effectiveness, and fullness of life. These services include counseling and psychotherapy, psychiatric consultation, psychological testing/assessment, and seminar-workshops. When Metro Manila was placed in community quarantine, CPPS adapted by providing Telehealth Services. Now, as the world slowly returns to normal, CPPS offers both in-person and virtual services, through our  onsite clinic at  West Avenue, Quezon City, By Demand Clinic Telehealth Team, in-person mental health support at client company locations,  as well as our 24/7 Online Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and Crisis Hub .

The center is powered by a diverse team of passionate mental health advocates. At present, we have a mental health services provider base composed of coaches, counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychometricians, learning and development experts, and community development workers. CPPS is under the management of partners  Karen Rose Vardeleon-Binayas, RPsy and  Eric Christian G. Binayas, CPA,  with the support of our clinical supervisors, counselor educators, managers and  coordinators.

CPPS originated from the partnership between two centers: Childfam-Philippines Co. which catered to children and adolescents (founded by Jasmin C. Merejilla , former CPPS Managing Partner), and Possibilities Psychological Solutions which catered to adults, couples and families. Both centers began in 2013. The partnership was conceptualized informally August 2016, and registered with SEC September 2017. CPPS is a PHILGEPS-accredited company and is an accredited Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program provider by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

At the start, CPPS mainly catered to the academe and the general public. However, last August 2018, CPPS launched the program CPPS WORK which aims to extend existing mental health services for workplaces. This program was designed to respond to RA 11036 or the Mental Health Law which now mandates mental health programs in workplaces and schools. CPPS WORK offered a wide range of services including consultation, mental health literacy workshops, and the innovative MH+ card, which is an HMO exclusive for mental health services. Since its inception, CPPS has had partnerships for workplace wellness with  companies/organizations across different industries, providing support in mental health literacy programs, consultations, and screening/assessment.

Having celebrated our 10th anniversary last August 2023, CPPS continues to adapt, expand, and finetune our services so that we can fulfill our promise for whole person, age, culture, and gender sensitive, evidence-based practice. We pledge to remain relevant, responsive, and socially aware, especially amidst our extraordinary times, to increase the

access to mental health of all Filipinos.
